'The Kokanee' is seeking submissions in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction from LTCC students, faculty. LTCC alumni and anyone who has ever taken a course at LTCC can submit to the publication.

Guidelines:
• Poetry
Submit up to five single-spaced, typed poems, no more than 10 pages. Author’s name on all pages.
• Prose
Submit up to two pieces of literary fiction or nonfiction, typed, double-spaced, and paginated. 20 pages total. Author’s name on all pages.

Lake Tahoe Community College will recognize the first Distinguished Alumni at graduation on Friday, June 26, 2009. This annual award will be based upon an alumni’s (graduate or former student) exemplary achievement in his or her particular endeavor in life, which encompasses academic, business and professional and civic activities.
